Port 1 ~ 6 on JVS-S20-16P 16 Port PoE Switch have 4~30W power supply can be used as Ethernet PoE+ Power Supply Equipment (PSE). In order to provide PSE device with adequate power, JVS-S20-16P have PoE Power Budget function to customize PoE power budget. It means JVS-S20-16P can provide PSE device with enough power in a long distance transmission.

The JVS-S10 PoE switch provides 8 Wirespeed 10 / 100M adaptive RJ45 PoE Ports and 4 Ports have power supply capability, which can be used as ethernet PoE power supply equipment.All PoE ports can automatically detect and identify devices that meet IEEE 802.3at/af standards and power them via network lines, which makes the switch more flexible than traditional PoE switches through a single PoE port to serve multiple PoE-powered devices from different manufacturers on the same network segment.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology allows data transmission over standard twisted pair copper cables for distances up to 100 meters without using additional cabling between PoE-powered devices and PoE switches or PoE adapters. Power is transmitted along with data in one cable pair of a UTP category 5e or better cable, while other pairs are used for data communication as usual. This reduces installation cost by avoiding the need for additional power cabling. PoE allows access points and other network devices to be powered entirely through their Ethernet connection, eliminating the need for PoE power supplies or PoE adapters on each PoE device.
